3LCD technology

Powered by 3LCD technology and Epson’s laser optical engine, the L790U series is capable of producing white light and colour light output of 7,300 lumens in WUXGA resolution, delivering captivating images in virtually any venue. While the light weight and compact size of these projectors enable them to be carried from room to room, they are also capable of highly visible images thanks to high brightness and a superior 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

Natural-looking images are achieved by controlling crushed blacks in dark scenes and clipped whites in bright scenes.

The manual lens shift2 covers a wide range, offering a great deal of flexibility when installing the projector.
HDBaseT and diverse connectivity
Cutting-edge HDBaseT technology means just one single CAT-5/6 cable carries Full HD video, audio, network and control commands up to 100 metres to accommodate large venues. No need for additional cables, signal repeaters or added labour.
NFC functionality
NFC functionality enables communication with smart devices even when the projector is switched off and can be configured and checked easily from the Epson Projector Config Tool on a smart device. This means initial configuration can be carried out at the warehouse before transportation, reducing the work hours needed for installation and helping to reduce adjustment time when multiple projectors are being installed.
360 degree projection
The Epson L790U can be rotated 360° in any direction for off-axis positioning flexibility. As a result, they can be used for a wide range of applications, such as projecting on the ceiling or floor, or as part of a rear-projection system.
